Slushpile sleuths is a loose team of reviewers originally founded on Mobileread forums. It was created as a place to post ebook reviews, mostly of free, self-published and small publisher releases, and especially books that don't have a print version. We may review books from:
Smashwords: Your ebook. Your way. - "Smashwords is an ebook publishing and distribution platform, serving authors, publishers, readers and ebook retailers. Smashwords is ideal for publishing novels, personal memoirs, poetry chapbooks, short and long-form fiction, and non-fiction. If you've written it, we want to help you share it and sell it!"
Feedbooks: Food for the mind - "On Feedbooks you'll discover thousands of public domain books and original books from new authors that you can read on any mobile device."
(And other locations as they catch our interest.)
Ebook reviews are entirely at the whim of the reviewers. Some will take author suggestions; others prefer to find ebooks on their own. Any genre is possible, but some reviewers only read some genres. Reviews are written for the benefit of readers; while we will strive to avoid snark, reviews will not be limited to the positive.
